Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabricating metal pipes and components, with a strong focus on precision and quality. The Pipe Welder will work in a controlled indoor environment, handling various welding tasks and ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations on metal pipes and components using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick.
- Cut, shape, and prepare metal pipes and fittings according to workshop specifications and blueprints.
- Assemble and fabricate pipe assemblies, ensuring accurate alignment and fit.
- Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet workshop standards and technical specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing methods to verify weld integrity.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance on workshop tools and machinery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow workshop safety regulations and industry standards to prevent accidents and ensure compliance..
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or issues to the workshop supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other workshop personnel to complete projects efficiently.
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
- Attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
Requirements:
- +2 years experience
- Must be Welder Certified
- Legally authorized to work in the USA.
- Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test.
